The Foundation

CRE100DO’s vocation is to develop a benchmark framework for the growth of companies that benefits the country, disseminating high-impact business concepts and practices.

CRE100DO aims to contribute to the development of the Spanish productive model, so that it evolves towards a model based on companies with more added value, which are more innovative, more competitive and more internationalized, for which the size of the companies is the most influential variable.

Our history

  • We outlined the concept

The Bankinter Innovation Foundation designed the basis of CRE100DO and shared it with ICEX and the Círculo de Empresarios.

  • We involved the experts

Important specialists from the business world such as Accenture, Analistas Financieros Internacionales (AFI), A.T. Kearney, Deloitte, ESADE, Garrigues, IBM, IESE, McKinsey, Ramón y Cajal Abogados, and Telefónica, attracted by the principles of the CRE100DO program, became actively involved in the dissemination of knowledge as associated entities.

  • We shared our project

The founders of the program, Bankinter Innovation Foundation, ICEX and Círculo de Empresarios, together with the associated entities, announced the launch of CRE100DO.

  • We set up the organization

Working groups were formed in the various areas related to business growth, starting with the selection process of those companies that would participate in the CRE100DO program during the next few years.

  • We got going

Celebration of the CRE100DO launch event with the presentation of the first 15 selected companies and the operational principles of the initiative.

  • We continued to incorporate new companies

Celebration of the II Annual Event where the 15 selected companies had the opportunity to interact with the CRE100DO ecosystem.

  • We drove growth

Through the 20 activities carried out in the first year of the program, we communicated the complete roadmap which would support the companies in their process of development.

  • We made progress in our aspiration

20 new companies committed to the CRE100DO program motivated by their ambition to accelerate their development process.

  • We approached our target

With the presentation of the 26 new companies that had joined the program we got closer to reaching our goal of bringing together 100 middle-market companies.

  • We promoted the community

The celebration of the first CEOs Day demonstrated CRE100DO’s continuous efforts to activate the exchange of experiences and knowledge between the companies and the ecosystem of collaborators in the program.

  • We fulfilled our purpose

In 5 years, the objective of integrating 100 companies representative of the middle market into the CRE100DO program was achieved, serving as growth “mirrors” for companies in this market segment.

  • We started to look to the future

The CRE100DO program was set up as a foundation to undertake a new phase of consolidation.

  • New incorporations

CRE100DO approached its first anniversary as a Foundation by incorporating 10 excellent new companies.

  • Community/Visibility

CRE100DO started 2020 by presenting the new programs; among these we highlighted the launch of support groups to enhance the feeling of belonging to the Community.

  • COVID-19

The appearance of the pandemic in our country led us to take action very quickly and to reinvent our activities and communication channels to continue providing value to the community by encouraging collaboration to contribute to the Spanish business fabric.
